A Message from the Candidate

Hello!

Our State is filled with great people and great ideas. We have led this country in social policy, climate change policy, women’s rights, and meeting the challenges of a modern world. While we have provided innovative and sound initiatives for the country and the world, we face a new era of significant challenges brought on by eight years of Republican mismanagement and failed leadership.

Our challenge is to correct the irresponsible and failed policies that have mortgaged our children’s future and caused such great economic damage. Our state and our country need real leadership to meet this challenge – not the false promises of those who would return us to the failed policies of the past or the wavering and disengaged politicians who idly stood by.

Real leadership is needed in these times of economic trouble and global pressures. Oregon has long been the breeding ground of the progressive ideas and ideals that have made our country great and respected. Join with me as we work together to bring real leadership and positive, effective influence to our nation’s capital.
